Bead Star Bead Slam the Ultimate Beading Competition
Friday, August 22 Noon - 5pm
Main Lobby

Bead Fest attendees and students will battle it out by creating a beading project on site. Armed with nothing more than beads purchased at the show and a few jewelry-making essentials provided by sponsors (wire, stringing materials, tools, and beading needles), contestants will vie to create their best designs as the clock ticks away.

The first 100 projects submitted will be critiqued by a panel of expert judges based on technique and creativity.
20 finalists will advance to be judged by show attendees. Prizes go to the top 3 finalists.

Winners will be announced Sunday at noon.
