LA FONDA VENDORS:

Santa Fe, NM 87501 Loading/Unloading: Information will be posted as it is received. Loading and unloading access is only allowed in and out of the hotel through the parking garage area or the loading dock. Move in of packages/boxes: 1) La Fonda will not accept any receiving or storing of shipped boxes or equipment. Shipments will be turned away if delivered directly. This is due to lack of storage capacity. 2) You must use the decorator to ship your packages - they will be delivered on Thursday at 7am for set up. If an you elect to bring in your own boxes and equipment: 1. You can utilize La Fonda bellmen services – bell staff will load boxes and equipment onto a bell cart, deliver items to the exhibitor’s space and unload the items from the cart. A flat fee of $20.00 will be charged for each cart of items and must be paid directly to the bellmen by cash or credit card, or may be charged to your sleeping room, if you are staying at La Fonda. 2. Utilize La Fonda bell carts – bell staff will provide a bell cart to the exhibitor and the exhibitor must load their own boxes and equipment onto the cart. The bellmen would deliver items to the exhibitor’s space and the exhibitor must unload it at that time. A flat fee of $10.00 will be charged for the use of each cart and must be paid directly to the bellmen by cash or credit card or charged to your room. 3. Exhibitors may arrive at La Fonda with their boxes and equipment and deliver their items directly to their exhibit space without the use of either La Fonda’s bell staff or bell carts. There is no charge for this option; however, the use of the handicapped elevators for the moving of boxes and/or equipment is not allowed and will be strictly adhered to. All items must be carried up and down short sets of stairs to access the Ballroom and Santa Fe rooms. Currently that in-time is scheduled in the contract for: Thursday, March 18, 2010 beginning at 7:00 am. The above charges apply to one-way deliveries only and they are not subject to gratuity or tax. Bell carts will not be available to exhibitors to move their own items around the hotel. La Fonda Parking: Current price for overnight parking at La Fonda is $12/night. However Bead Fest hotel guests will receive a special rate of $8.00 for the dates of the event. Parking for day visitors in the La Fonda garage is currently $2.00 for the first hour and $1.00 each hour thereafter with a maximum of $8.00 for a full day. Large vans or motor coaches cannot be accomdated in the La Fonda garage. CONVENTION CENTER VENDORS:
201 W. Marcy St Santa Fe, NM 87501 Loading/Unloading: For vendors loading/unloading at the Convention Center, there are 3 options: 1. Loading docks located at the back of the CC: drive around the block untill you see the loading dock area. There are approximately 6 places for cars/trucks to pull in at one time. We will have a security person there timing vendors. The more booths you have the more time you have to unload. Please be courteous of other vendors and when you are done unloading move your vehicle to the Convention Center underground parking garage. 2. A “pull over” section on the side of the street on Grant, that borders the Convention Center : you can fit up to 6 vehicles. You unload from there and go directly to the exhibit hall from a side entrance. That space is limited to 30 minutes and they are strict. 3. Either of the 2 levels of underground parking garages at the CC : there are elevators that take you pretty close to the exhibit hall . We suggest this option for vendors with a smaller load. Convention Center Parking: We have a great deal for vendors for a 4 day pass. You buy the pass on Thursday – 4 day pass is $20 instead of $9/day. If you are unloading on Wed nesday , you just pay the normal fee by the hour or $9/day max. . You may park in the Convention Center lot or the below two lots for this rate Sandoval Parking Garage 216 E San Francisco (across from the Hilton) 400 spaces Scottish Rite Temple 463 Paseo de Peralta (a few blocks from the Convention Center) 103 spaces. |
