Copper Explosion

This lariat, entitled Copper Explosion, was Kubby and Lovett's first attempt at putting multiple heishi pearl pods on the same crocheted bead rope. They also experimented with a more rounded pod and single heishi pearls embellished on the rope leading to the pearls. Along with the heishi pearls, the artists employed seed beads, potato pearls, sterling silver wire, and crochet thread to obtain this look.
