This year we have updated our workshop lengths to better meet the needs of the workshop and you. You will find quick 90-minute & 2-hour workshops, a longer 4-hour workshop, and our standard 3-hour, 6-hour and 2-day workshops.

You'll be quite surprised at how fast this funky pendant works up. Use repurposed zippers wire-wrapped to 16 gauge wire to add texture and interest. Once you've wrapped it, you can finish it with the spirals of your choice.

Learn how to create a dynamic wearable in this class that teaches bead crochet, a fun and easy (and super trendy!) skill.  The necklace you will make uses beautiful and sturdy metallic-colored Elasticity Cord from Beadalon and your choice of gorgeous Jesse James Beads.  You will learn how to crochet with beads to make a necklace that easily converts into a bracelet.  Choose your favorite Jesse James Beads colors and get ready to go wild!  This project is a blast to make and the skill is quick to learn.  Join in on the knotty fun!

Technique: Bead Embroidery & Bead Weaving
Learn how to create an extra textural element in your bead embroidery by adding soutache ribbon to your piece. Add beaded fringe for a truly magnificent statement piece. Previous soutache bead embroidery is not necessary for this piece, but students should be comfortable with peyote stitch and setting a rivoli in beadwork.
 

 

POLICIES


If a workshop is canceled by the instructor or by Bead Fest Philadelphia a full refund will be given to the registered students, or the registered student may change into another workshop for no additional fee - we will apply full value of the canceled classand the student will pay or be refunded the difference.

Workshop Changes:


Registrants may change a workshop through end of day Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
A $25 per workshop change fee will be assessed.  Workshops are non-transferable between Events.

Registrants understand that workshop skill level and prerequisites are listed for each workshop. No refunds or changes will be made to registrants for any reason related to skill level or prerequisites.

Cancellation/Refunds:


If you cancel your workshop registration by the end of day Wednesday, July 2, 2014: You will be refunded 100% of workshop cost, minus $35.00 per workshop.
From July 3rd until the event, there is a 0% refund for workshop fees and kits will not be mailed or refunded for canceling/changing the workshop.

No changes can be made after Wednesday, July 2, 2014.

Online registration will close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
